An accident

Jack and me were walking in the woods when something in the ground caught my eye. Upon further inspection we found out that it was an envelope full of cash. I was very excited, and I knew that luck had finally struck me. I was getting the money when Jack said:

-       Can I have some please? C’mon, we found it together...

-       Seriously? I was the one who found it; you’re just being selfish.

-       You’re the one who’s being selfish! It isn’t yours anyway.

-       Well I don’t give a damn: it’s mine now.

-       We should inform the cops, who knows were this came from...

-       Are you trying to black mail me? Because if you are I’d rather burn this envelope than to share it with you!

-       I bet you don’t have the guts.

-       Oh really? you think I don’t have the guts? You’ll see...

And with that I got up my lighter and burned the 1000$ until there was nothing left of it. We never talked about it again. Who needs Money if you have a good friend?

A happy ending

This time last year I was taking many pills, you see, I owned Money to the mafia; anywhere I looked I just couldn’t get such a high sum. The mafia from LA was even worse then the cartel, you didn’t pay? Death would be the least of your worries. Every night I slept with my gun and an eye open. And then an idea crossed my mind, and with sheer terror I realized it was my only choice: I could set up my boss. They would probably forget all the Money in a second. So a plan was laid out.

Me and Moe Green, my boss, had to go to Joe’s Motel, they were supposed to be waiting there to just kidnap him and do whatever they wanted with him. But as soon as we were there, I realized something was wrong, and then I heard the cold sound of a gun being cocked and some laughs.

-       You really think you could keep this a secret from me? My agents are everywhere. And you? You’re one lousy idiot who could never have gone far. And for as your “friends”, they’ll probably all be dead by now.

So I just didn’t have a choice, so I asked:

-Okay, but can I just play one more song with my guitar?

And with a swift movement I opened my guitar case and I took out an UZI. I fired everywhere, my bullets where flying in all directions, cars exploding... When I finally woke up I was in a bus out of LA going to Las Vegas. I thought, “Well, here is another fresh start, maybe a second chance? Who knows?”

Spending my time

Hi, I’m Enric To Gassiot and I’m a student in Escola Casa Nostra in Banyoles. I’m interested in economics, movies and advertising. I know few people who are interested in this. I usually spend my free time with my friends, just hanging around, playing sports or being lazy. I really like going to the cinema and having dinner out.

I’m a very pessimist person and I think the world really needs help. But I believe that if every one tries to improve as a person the world will move forward. There are few things that make me angry, not to say none, but it just makes me mad when people are racist.

As far as the future is concerned, I’m worried about the climate change and over population; so far I don’t see any solution for these problems. But who knows? Humanity has gone through worse things. And for my personal future I just want a good job that isn’t boring and to be happy.

Quick thinking foils crime

It was a day like any other at the local pizza hutt when a strange online order was recived it said "need help please call 911". The shop clerks thought it couldn't be a joke and they called the police who went to the sport. Turns out it was a real hostage situation as this florida mum and her children had been held hostages by her ex-boyfriend who was armed with a knife. Luckily the police, managed to rescue the family without any casaulties or harm of any kind.

My trip to Italy

Two weeks ago, I went, with all my classmates, Anna Vilà and Jordi Mossoll to a trip of five days to Italy.

On the first day, we all had to get up very early, as our Flight departed at 9:30. We spent all morning travelling but at last we reached the Lago di Garda, we’re we had a delicious pizza for lunch. We visited the lake for a while and then we got on the road again to travel to Verona where we would stay for 2 nights. We visited the streets of the city by night and we sat down for dinner in a restaurant.

On the second day we had to wake up early because we had to visit Venice. Venice was the best city for me, with great sights, the Plazza of StMarco, the Grand Canal, the Rialto Bridge and other typical tourist attractions. It was real fun to explore the city by ourselves in the afternoon. We finally went back to Verona and sent our last regards to that city, because we would be leaving to Florence early next morning.

We stayed in Florence during the third and fourth days and we enjoyed our time there visiting the Palazzo Vecchio, The Ufizzi Gallery, and the Santa Maria dei Fiore. We also went to some shops and enjoyed the typical Italian dishes in some of the best restaurants and bars of the city.

Finally, on the fifth day, we went to Pisa. We couldn’t spent much time there because we needed to catch our Flight but we got to see the Pisa tower and other famous landmarks of the city.

So all in all I had a great time in Italy although we had to walk a lot and wake very early and go to sleep very late.

As a child, Bruce had to hide his anger towards his abusive father. As a young man, he is irritated with radioactive particles during a nuclear test. From that moment, he transforms into the hulk when he gets angry. Like the famous duo Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, who inspired the Hulk's creators, Hulk's personality is completly different from Bruce's: Bruce is a genius in nuclear physics; the Hulk is not a very intelligent creature, but he has a cunning that helps him in combat.

Superhuman powers: the Hulk is extremely resistant to injury, pain and desiase. He can resist extreme temperatures and great impacts. He can jump great distances-5km in one movement.

Strength: the Hulk has immense physical strength. When he is stressed, his adrenaline levels escalate, causing a corresponding escalation in strength.
