Ash Vs Evil Dead

Talking about new TV shows, here's one that's coming late this year: Ash Vs Evil Dead. For those of you who haven't heard of the Evil Dead they we're a  horror trilogy of the 80ies directed by Sam Raimi that got a great cult following. A TV show has been 100% confirmed and it will be produced written and produced by Raimi himself and it will star the original protagonist of the series Bruce Campbell. Here's a hint on what will be the plot:

"30 years after the events of Evil Dead, Ash is a loner, living a dull existence, still not able to come to grips with the events that started at the cabin. In the event of a deadite invasion Ash must attach his chainsaw and pick up his trusty boomstick one more time, all while finally coming to terms with his past."

Twin Peaks Season 3 announced!

Finally, after all the fans asking for more, David Lynch (Blue Velvet, Mulhola Drive...) has publicly announced that he will be writing and directing a new season of Twin Peaks epiodes that will air on 2016. For those of you who haven't heard of the show, Twin Peaks was a big hit on american TV 25 years ago. In the series, FBI agent Cooper tries to solve the grousome murder of a teenager: Laura Palmer. The intricate storyline, the onirical sequences, the strange mysterious and funny characters and the violence and terror where the key to this show's succes. I leave you with the season 3 trailer which left me with very high expectations.
